About Association
Serbian Association of Bodyguards SAB is an association of citizens, founded on April 5, 2011. year, in Zemun.
The goal of the association is to achieve complete equality and preserve the identity of bodyguards in the Republic of Serbia. The Serbian Association of Bodyguards is an association of bodyguards based on the experience of certified close protection officers with Serbian and international licenses.
Having fulfilled all the requirements, the association became a full member of the International “International Close Protection Training Association – IACPO/ICPTA” organization from Germany, a world association of bodyguards with over forty member countries.
By becoming a member of IACPO – ICPTA, the association acquired the right to organize and conduct training for Close Protection Officers. The training is conducted according to the program of the highest world standard established at the global level. All participants who pass the training program become members of the bodyguard association of Serbia and receive an international license.
The Serbian Association of Bodyguards gathers people with the aim of promoting, popularizing and breaking the “taboo” related to the bodyguard profession. Being a bodyguard isn’t just about the red carpet with celebrities. It’s a lot of sweat, effort and sacrifice. Being a bodyguard means living someone else’s life and being ready to give yours. Big professionals with even bigger hearts, we are ready to offer experience, knowledge and advice to everyone who is a sympathizer or part of this business.
SAB hires the best participants of its training for the needs of its work, and also provides recommendations for future employment. If necessary, we organize specialist courses.

PREDRAG BALCACANOVIC
Founder
Predrag Balcacanović was born in 1974. Until 2002, he was in active military service in the military police and border units. Since 2002, he has been working as a professional bodyguard in the country and abroad. He also worked in high-risk areas – the Middle East, protecting American citizens. He has 40 domestic and foreign licenses in the field of diplomatic security. He is an international self-defense and bodyguard training instructor. The instructor is licensed by the police and for the training of physical and technical security workers. He is the representative for Serbia of the International Association of Close Protection Officers (IACPO/ICPTA). He completed a two-year specialization in the field of diplomatic security at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He is the president and founder of the World Information Association from Belgrade, since 2020 (WIAVIP).

The emblems and signs of the Association represent a stylized visual identity, which contribute to strengthening the collective and the feeling of belonging to a certain section and/or team.
Members of the Association, who are regular and active members, have official identification (membership card), as proof of membership and belonging to the Association.
The official identification card is made of plastic, with built-in protective elements, in the form of an identification card. The request for the extension of the official identification card of the Association member is submitted one month before its expiration, with an attached Certificate that no criminal proceedings have been initiated against the Association member, nor that an investigation has been initiated at the time of issuing the identification card (CC certificate), issued by the Municipal Court, which is not older than 6 months.
If the request for an extension is not submitted within the deadline and the validity of the official identification card expires, the member of the Association goes through the complete procedure of issuing a new official identification card.
In addition to official identification (membership card), members of the Association can also have an official badge (membership promotional badge), which they receive and wear in a black three-part folding leather cover, under special conditions prescribed by the Rulebook.
The official badge of the Association represents the professional identification of the official and personal characteristics of the members of the Association and contributes to the individual feeling of belonging to the collective, based on personal and professional qualities. Along with the official ID, which is renewed once a year, the official badge serves as a sign of recognition between members and other teams, and for the purposes of performing “CPO” duties – close personal protection, it cannot be used for other purposes.
The badge of the Association, without the member’s official identification, is not a symbol of the Association and cannot serve as proof of membership in the Association, as defined in Article 2 of the Rulebook on SAB official symbols.
The official badge of the Association DOES NOT SERVE for identification in front of authorized officials of the MUP, BIA, VBA, VOA and the Military Police, who have the authority to check the identity of citizens, because it has the status of a promotional character and hallmark of the Association.
